Dear Randy, Im a huge fan of yours and I feel that we have been connecting this past few weeks. The last concert you played in college station I felt you were singing to me the whole time. My mommy has always told me go after what really means the most to you in life...and that is you to me. I hope to run into you in these coming weeks. Please write back and if you dont i'll find you. MJ

Great music, great BAND. Does anyone know where I can get a recording of the song "Interstate" that he's been playing at shows lately?

Randy Rogers Band is the reason that I love music as much as I do. The first time I heard these guys, I fell in love. Texas Country music became a part of my everyday life when I was a freshman in college. It doesn't matter what song by RRB that I hear, I can't get enough. Everyone should have at least one of their albums. Their newest self-titled cd is absolutely fantastic. They keep bringing out the best of the best. I traveled to Floores (in Helotes) from Galveston to see them, because I just can't get enough. Keep up the good work, you guys will always have my vote and my attention.

I agree with Gabe. There are plenty groups that up and coming that will carry the college drinking torch. RR is doing the right thing by branching out and becoming more of a rounded band. They are staying with the age group that made them. I was in college when these guys were coming up and I have a great respect for their music. Good luck RR and keep it going.

Whoever doesn't like this album...there is a good chance they have absoluetly no taste in music! RRB has done nothing but evolve since the Last Call album(live @ Cheatham St. Warehouse)they were kick ass then and they are kick ass now! and this self titled album is unbelievable! Keep Rockin RRB!

It was interesting to hear the band without half the current members. Regardless of not having Brady Black on board, the music is good, especially Tommy Jackson, Lost & Found, and Company You Keep

How exactly does any artist "aim for Texas"? Aiming for anything other than creating music from your heart is a sure fire trail to disaster. Sorry to hear than some long time fans can't relate to the growth and maturity of the Randy Rogers Band - as artists and as humans. This album is great beginning to end. No, it doesn't sound exactly like the old ones, or the last one. Isn't that the point? New album... new music... progression?

djoewoods is a moron, this is the tightest the "BAND" has ever sounded. they have evolved and the sound shows that. the songwriting is... IT'S RANDY ROGERS! enough said, buy the album.

i'll give em 2 stars, because thats about how many songs are worth listening to on the new cd. when these guys first dropped they had my full attention, and i pushed their tunes on everybody in my bubble. i don't know what the dynamic is at this point, but it doesn't seem to be aimed for texas. i'm not too impressed this time around.
