Track 1
Can't Stop Fallin'
This song spawned from my efforts to pacify my newborn son on some of those not so happy nights. I would sit him between my legs and strum and sing this simple melody - most of the time it worked!

Track 2
Small Price to Pay
The title cut for this record. I've seen a lot of love in my life and this song is about three of those instances. One of the verses introduces you to a little boy named Chase. The doctors told his parents he would never walk. They worked with him night and day and never gave up. Chase is walking now...

Track 3
Ridin' the Texas Wind
This song was written in the back bedroom of the duplex Shawn and I lived in during college. The storm referred to in the song represents the music. It's still brewing...

Track 4
Wild Oats
I've spent plenty of time sowing these. This tune is about what you have to show for the time you've been given on this earth.

Track 5
Cold Hard Cash
This song is a great reminder that money is not nearly everything!

Track 6
What He Sees
This is one of my favorite songs on the record. It was written on a plane headed from Fresno, CA. back to Houston. We all have "baggage" from our past that keeps us from acknowledging our true potential. Sometimes it takes seeing ourselves through anothers eyes for us to realize how special and loved we are.

Track 7
Run Like Hell is Knockin'
I gave some advise to a friend that was struggling with a substance abuse addiction. It stuck in my mind and took the form of this song. This was one of the most fun songs we recorded!

Track 8
Until We Meet Again
This song, though it deals with loss, is about hope. Please accept this as my gift and condolance for yours who have gone before.

Track 9
Hometown Revival
My earliest musical memories come from Church. This song is a tribute to all the Southern gospel music that has influenced me along the way.

Track 10
Fill'er Up
If there's an autobiographical song on the record, it's this one. I've looked far and wide for answers to life's questions - and I've ended up in some pretty interesting situations. This song is about a few of the "people" I've been and what I've discovered along the way.
