51st Annual Yorktown Western Days-Ziegfest, a FREE non-profit organization charitable fundraiser, is a premier Texas music festival featuring family-oriented entertainment, shows/performances, interactive educational exhibits and much more! Join us for all 3 days of FREE Texas Music and Family Fun! NO ADMISSION or PARKING COSTS! Proud headliners of the 2009 Yorktown Western Days-Ziegfest are Kevin Fowler, the Eli Young Band and Wade Bowen. Other featured performers are Honeybrowne, Two Tons of Steel, Mark Mckinney, Django Walker, Texas Ride, Jack Levitt,the Cody Gill Band, and DJ Val Mungia. This is a FREE event you DON'T want to miss! Highlights include armadillo races, the South Texas Gunfighters, old west medicine shows, 6-gun exhibitions, gold mine, puppet shows, carnival, youth road race, childrens activities, Sahawe Indian dancers, mutton bustin', pig scramble, petting zoo, pony rides, mechanical bull contest, motorcycle run, Texas size Grand Parade, BBQ cook off, salsa contest, horseshoe/washer throw contest, antique tractor/farm equipment and quilt shows, arts/crafts vendors, exhibitors and so much more. |
